Dichondra Repens (Mouse Ear)

  • It belongs to convolvulaceae family and it has a creeping plant structure and it is a long living herbaceous plant.    
  • It spreads well due to its crawlers and reaches 5-10 cm in height.  
  • It grows under sunny and shady conditions.  However, it is necessary for its soil to be moist regularly.   
  • It’s weak against cold and being stepped on.  However, it doesn’t require much shaping.  
  • It is usually advised to be planted in shady areas and shady sides where there isn’t much of shaping done.   
  • 1000 seeds equal to 0.5 grams of weight.
